The term HYIP stands for — high yield investment program. The term does not carry any negative connotations. The word “High” refers to any yield exceeding the yield of bank deposits. In this regard, any project, company, fund offering “guaranteed” or potential returns for their investors which are higher than bank yield may be called HYIP.
However, among Internet investors it is accepted to understand by the term websites that offer high returns, but operating on the pyramid principle.
Why did it happen? Because the majority of HYIPs working exclusively on the Internet have no representative offices offline and deal with redistribution of funds between their members. There are no activities leading to the production of added value, and the promised interest is paid from funds coming from new members.
In the HYIP industry it is accepted to conditionally divide HYIPs into three groups according to tariff plans or, in other words, profitability.
Low-interest HYIPs — programs with the yield of up to 15% per month.
Mid-interest HYIPs — programs with the yield of 30% — 60% per month or 1-2% per day.
High-interest HYIPs or Fast HYIPs — programs with the yield of 60% per month, or from 2.5% to 3% per day and above.
It is important to understand that HYIPs exist as long as admins decide. If you have understood this for yourself, then we can go to the other factors that determine the HYIP life. These include: tariff plans (yield), quality of preparation, the HYIP technical part, proper promotion, good marketing, a convincing legend, etc. The average lifespan of
“low-interest” projects is from 6 months to several years,
“mid-interest” — from 2 months to 1-2 years,
“fasts” — from several days to 1-2 months,
“hourly projects” live only from a few hours to several days.
Ideally HYIP must pass all the pyramid stages. If that were the case, an experienced hyper could always determine the timing out of HYIP or appropriateness of entering there at some point or another.
Is HYIP a Fair Play or Pyramid Scheme?
It is well understood that 99.9% of HYIPs with guaranteed yields above 15-20% per month are actually pyramid schemes. Among HYIP, with a yield of up to 15% per month, probably there may be projects with real activity, but to determine it reliably almost impossible, because the organizers do not provide conclusive evidence of their work. Therefore I recommend to follow the same precautions as in the case of work with HYIP pyramids.
I consider that HYIP is just a financial service or tool. It's something like a game — get-rich-quick or forget-rich-quick, where stupid and greedy persons pay for their folly.
I want to clarify the term 'financial service,' as I understand it. There are insurance companies, casinos, funds, ICOs, which work on the same principle as a HYIP.
There is a common pool of money, which are distributed according to certain rules. With regard to a HYIP, the funds are distributed according to the rules (or desire) of the developers' team.
In short, a HYIP is a type of financial gambling, where a creator (admin) is in advance known winner, who, however, provides investors with opportunity to make good money, if they invest wisely, without unnecessary risk, and armed with knowledge from our blog.
Hyip projects are projects with high risk investment plans. For this reason, it is recommended that investors who invest in HYIP projects should invest in amounts that will not affect their economic situation.
A HYIP project can provide huge gains for investors. However, it is possible to do much damage from a HYIP project.
