Crypto industry had been waiting for the hard fork for quite a long time sitting on the edge of its seat. But unfortunately an exposure was found and it might cause postpone of the release.

This didn't happen for the first time, the release date was delayed a few time already, but this time it has happened because of that another vulnerability was found in one of the network updates. This is what the CoinDesk says.

The intellectual contracts audit company ChainSecuriry has recently declared that the Ethereum Improvement Proposal (EIP) 1283, in case of its realization, might give an opportunity to frauds to steel the users’ funds. In answer to these concerns Ethereum developers have agreeАd to postpone the hardfork - the new release day will stay unknown unless until the developers have measured how the problem big.

Having discussion about the problem, the team has admitted that the tackling is going to take some time, due to this planned date of Constantinople release aren't actual anymore.

The problem itself consists in that hackers might have a chance to repeat the same function a few times, while the transaction status stays unknown to the user.

The fork might had place in the previous year, but it was postponed because lots of problems were found during the Constantinople updates installing in the Ropsten test system.
