Two thieves stolen $4,000 from a Bitcoin ATM but leaved $50,000, forgetting to check up the second ATM canister. The incident took place at the “Simply Delicious Food Market” in Vernon, British Columbia, around 4 a.m. on Nov. 19. The police arrived at the scene just 15 minutes after the incident took place. Despite the fact that the two managed to escape security camera caught at least one of their cars with license plate too. The shaken owner of the store said he now plans to remove the machine. As previously reported, the number of crypto ATMs doubled in 2018 from 2,025 ATMs in 2017 to 4,051 ATMs, according to a tweet from cryptocurrency analytics firm DataLight. This reflects an increase in the adoption of cryptocurrencies in general, despite the market downturn in digital asset values.
