Everipedia to Reward Users With Crypto Tokens

Wikipedia’s rival Everipedia, the world’s largest encyclopedia built on blockchain technology, has launched long-anticipated peer-to-peer encyclopedia, using EOS.IO technology to reward users with “IQ” tokens for curating and editing articles. IQ tokens entitle the token holder to governance and voting rights within the network, essentially making every editor a stakeholder in the network. This model aims to make feasible a fully-autonomous encyclopedia without the need for advertisements or donations. Additionally, the decentralized nature of how the articles are stored using blockchain technology also essentially makes the network un-censorable.

“We are elated to release our minimum viable network which allows users to vote on and create articles in a decentralized manner for the first time,”  Everipedia CIO and Wikipedia Co-Founder Dr. Larry Sanger said. To start voting and creating content on the network, users may visit iqnetwork.io. User registration is not required; to interact with the protocol only an EOS account and IQ tokens are needed.

Everipedia has millions of unique monthly visitors and about six million encyclopedia articles, surpassing English Wikipedia by content. Everipedia also has a large community of over 8,000 volunteers, enthusiasts and editors via Telegram and other prominent social networks such as Reddit and Facebook.Join to our Telegram channel HYIP.com to be always up-to-date with the latest news of the cryptocurrency space.
