In the previous article we told about criteria for a technical analysis of a HYIP. Let’s continue and examine another factors we must pay attention, choosing an investment program — certifications and website statistics.
Very often, HYIPs try to prove their reliability and legitimacy by publishing company’s certificates. However, to found a company in any offshore country costs just a few hundred dollars, and everything can be done anonymously on the Internet.
Important advice: In any case, it is important to understand that even all the legal documents are not necessarily a guarantee of reliability and stability of the HYIP. It only says that the HYIP administrator has made an effort and invested money to create a more reliable and attractive program.
Some HYIPs show the program statistics on their sites. It may look like this:
Please note that the information contained in the statistics table can often be easily modified by the HYIP administrator. How can you determine it? It is very simple: if you see the same statistics every day for weeks or months, then it is not true.
If it is changed daily and weekly, this is done to demonstrate the attractive situation to convince new investors, that is, the data are also false.
Most often, the following information is presented:
Started: the date when the HYIP was officially launched. Compare this date with the information from the section “Who’s Who”. It will be presented below.
Running days: the number of days of the HYIP operation, starting from the date of launch.
Total Accounts: the complete number of investors since the program launch.
active accounts: the number of investors who are still investing in the program.
Compare the total number of registrations with active participants to see whether the HYIP is still at the growth stage. Always remember about pyramid schemes!
Total deposited: the total amount deposited by investors, starting from the date of launch.
Total withdrawal: the total amount withdrawn by investors. If it is much higher than all the invested funds (Total deposited), then perhaps this HYIP is already on the verge of closing.
Last Update: usually today’s date. That is, the administrator indicates that the numbers correspond to reality.
In the next post we will talk about data verification on HYIP site registration. Watch out for updates in the blog!
